Vilm Seminar Series

The task of the International Academy for Nature Conservation Isle of Vilm (INA) is to conduct national and international seminars with the aim

to contribute to capacity building in conservation abroad and to train and advise conservation personnel from developing countries and the former Eastern bloc countries
to develop and discuss conservation policies and instruments on national, EU and international level
to promote the public acceptance of conservation in Germany
to assist in protected areas management in Germany and abroad
to encourage sustainable use and the integration of conservation needs into other policies
to disseminate information and encourage dialogue between conservationists from all over Germany
