Vilm Seminar Series

The task of the International Academy for Nature Conservation Isle of Vilm (INA) is to conduct national and international seminars with the aim
- to contribute to capacity building in conservation abroad and to train and advise conservation personnel from developing countries and the former Eastern bloc countries
- to develop and discuss conservation policies and instruments on national, EU and international level
- to promote the public acceptance of conservation in Germany
- to assist in protected areas management in Germany and abroad
- to encourage sustainable use and the integration of conservation needs into other policies
- to disseminate information and encourage dialogue between conservationists from all over Germany
