How to choose your train:
Please look for train connections to Lauterbach/Mole at 
Rail travel information
to Station Lauterbach Mole (Rügen):
via Hamburg: Rostock - Stralsund - Bergen
via Berlin: Stralsund - Bergen
via Malmö: Sassnitz - Bergen
Arrival by car:
Either via Stralsund on the B 96 national trunk road - Bergen - Putbus to Lauterbach, or
immediately after crossing the Rügen dam (Rügendamm), turn right heading for Garz - Putbus and continue to Lauterbach.
The opening times of the bridge on the Rügendamm (Ziegelgrabenbrücke) for boats are daily between:
02.30 - 02.50 hrs
05.20 - 05.40 hrs
09.20 - 09.40 hrs
17.20 - 17.40 hrs
21.30 - 21.50 hrs
Please note that during this time it is not possible to get over the dam to Rügen!
In Lauterbach parking is available in our visitors' car parks (see location map). Although there is a pay machine, parking for INA guests is free of charge. However we cannot assume liability for any vehicles parked there. We advise visitors not to make their journey by car, particularly during the peak tourist season in summer.

Via Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Malmö, or Rostock-Laage airports. Train connections to Lauterbach depart from all these airports ( Rail travel information)

Boat crossing to the island of Vilm:
The crossing from Lauterbach to the island of Vilm is only possible in our boat, and takes 10 minutes. Our ferry, the "INA" makes the crossing to a fixed seasonal timetable which is coordinated with connecting trains.
